The Best Choice Hotel in Kuala Lumpur
I have stayed at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur many times, and this visit was especially memorable due to a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Room to an Executive Suite. I would like to specifically thank Mr. Ruban at the front desk for his professionalism, friendliness, and excellent service. The upgrade was very much appreciated.
The Executive Suite is spacious, clean, and well laid out. The separate living area, dining table, and comfortable sofa make the room ideal for longer stays or for guests who value extra space. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, with a good-quality bed and adequate lighting. The overall condition of the room feels well maintained and practical rather than flashy.
Amenities provided include a coffee and tea setup, bottled drinking water, and a small pantry area with sink, which is very convenient. The bathroom is clean, properly stocked with toiletries, and functional. Housekeeping standards remain consistent with my previous stays.
The city view from the higher floor is another highlight, overlooking Kuala Lumpur with a clear view of surrounding buildings and the swimming pool area below. Despite being centrally located, the room remains relatively quiet.
I did not take the breakfast package for this stay. However, food options are plentiful and very convenient. There is a food court located on the 4th floor, and many other restaurant choices are available at LG1 and LG2 levels, offering a wide variety of local and international cuisine.
Overall, this was another comfortable and pleasant stay at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. With its strategic location, spacious rooms, and consistent service, it continues to be a reliable choice. Special appreciation again to Mr. Ruban for the excellent front desk service and the complimentary upgrade.
Recommended for business travelers, repeat guests, and those looking for a spacious stay in central Kuala Lumpur.
the hotel has up their game to be one of the best in the area... love it
Room was superb,we paid for an upgrader for a connecting room, and we have both rooms that was super huge with enough space for more than 4 pax. Bfast was great with good spread of foods. place was cosy and staff was excellent. just that we had to wait for an hour for our rooms to be ready despite check-in timely. in room dining food was fantastic, yeah and this hotel host to many indonesian artist/ singers, and yes the food palattes was largely indo food and love it. carpark and passengers drop off was at the ground floor while the hotel lobby was at higher floor, hotel cp was a shared carpark with mall visitors. hence cp may be full and one may have to park higher level for slots.
🌟 Highly recommended! Worth every cent!
I stayed at Sunway Putra Hotel in Kuala Lumpur for two nights during my Latihan Pestapora trip, and honestly, the experience exceeded my expectations! One of the highlights was how smooth and pleasant everything was from the moment I checked in.
I had booked a different room type for my second night, but the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and arranged for me to stay in the same room. I’m not sure if it was just good timing or luck, but I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. It made my stay seamless and comfortable, especially after a long day out.
What really stood out to me was the warmth of every staff member I encountered. Everyone smiled, greeted me sincerely, and made me feel welcomed. It was pure, genuine hospitality.
Now, about the breakfast—it was honestly next level. While it may not have the biggest buffet in the city, every item was delicious. On the first day, I had Nasi Dagang, Mee Bandung, and surprisingly, Chinese-style chicken rice—all of which were flavorful. On the second day, I enjoyed Nasi Minyak with Ayam Masak Merah and Mee Kari; both dishes felt like they came straight from a home kitchen—comforting and full of flavor!
Additionally, I made a small request for an anniversary surprise, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a lovely cake with decorations. It truly made my day.
Overall, I fell in love with the warmth, food, and service at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. It’s a place I would return to in a heartbeat.
