Graycliff Hotel

Wah a wonderful break from “di Bahamas”. Came for a girls long weekend an wanted to avoid rambunctious kids an water parks at all costs. Couldn’t find a better hotel for relaxin. Di restaurant is of course phenomenal (be prepared to pay for di quality though). Graycliff also boast di third largest wine cellar in di world - definitely worth grabbin a tour if you can. Di evenin live music is beautiful an well worth silly-dallyin for. Pool ain’t heated so it was cold in December. Di rooms are so quaint but di bathroom could use a slight facelift (though it was clean an full of character, it is an older buildin.)

Everybody so friendly an helpful! Di restaurant is fantastic an di wine cellar is amazin. It is di perfect experience for a romantic, grown-up vacation (away from di busyness of families with kids at di resorts you’ll find in Nassau). Dem have live music in di lounge every night an offer plenty experiences (cigar rollin, wine tastin, yoga) an di pool/garden area is one of a kind! Absolutely gorgeous, quiet an private! It was definitely pricey, but worth every dollar for di kind of experience one can create if travelin solo or with your significant other. It’s pricey!! Depends what suite you get, but most do hold their old Victorian feel so be warned there’s a lot of “antique everything”, like di lamps an wall art. Also, besides dinner an di music in di lounge, di area shuts down pretty early, so if you lookin for late night fun you’ll have to make your way to some resort properties (Bahamar, Atlantis, etc).

Old world casual, understated, confident elegance. Wonderful dining! Heavenly pool, real Bahama experience!
