Apartment in the heart of Nice

Location: perfectly situated on the Main Street (Avenue Jean Medecine) and right opposite to the Nice-Ville station. It’s around 15-mins walk to the old town and the promenade, with a big supermarket right opposite the building, and the Nice-Ville train station right across the street is a main station to all the neighbouring cities and country (Monaco!) Hygiene: the building itself is a bit old but the apartment is nicely furnished and cleaned! I didn’t see any bug during my stay and there’s no dusty area found. My friends usually describe me as a hygiene freak but I do approve this place! Friendly staff: We were late on our check-in date, due to flight delays and getting lost …. But the owner was super nice and friendly. He didn’t blame us but instead waited for us at the entrance of the building. He also brought us up to the apartment and gave us a bottle of wine as a gift! He’s super nice and friendly and he also reminded us to beware of pick-pockets around the area and told us how to get to the main tourist spots. Minor inconvenience: hot water isn’t always available for shower. From our experience, the amount of hot water is usually available for 2 persons’ use only. We had to let two of us shower first and wait for another hour or so to make sure we don’t get a super cold shower. Overall, I would strongly recommend this apartment!

The host was very kind, and the tram and train station are right in front, making it convenient for getting to the airport or taking the train. The house and room are very spacious, so it is sufficient for more than four people. It was great to be able to cook and do laundry (there is no dryer, but there is detergent). If I go again, I would choose to stay here. It’s on the fifth floor, and there is an elevator. The host introduced me to a paid luggage storage place at a hotel nearby, and I left my bags there.

This is by the far, the best accommodation we have got throughout our stay in various parts of France. Strategic location (whether to the train, to the city centre, to the nearby eateris, shops, etc). The place is big and it's really like home away from home. Incredible host, Duc. We enjoyed our stay there so much. The only thing I hope was, more toilet rolls given. 1 rolls for 5 persons for 3 nights, seriously not sufficient.
