Rotterdam Marriott Hotel

Nekti tida wan wi visit di Netherlands, wi go stay na Rotterdam Marriott again! Wi feel very welcome by di staff. Di hotel na wan true value fu money. Lounge Access: Wi thoroughly enjoy di executive lounge, especially di happy hours wid amazing hors d'oeuvres an free flow of drinks (white wine an rosé). Di lounge get wan beautiful view fu Rotterdam Centraal, which look really nice at sunset. Breakfast: Wi had breakfast na The Millèn (Marriott’s Michelin starred resto) throughout wi 3 day stay ya. Dere na wan good buffet fu hot food, salads, an cold cuts, an dere na also wan menu fu on request dishes (omelets, eggs benedicts, pancakes, french toast) dat you can order directly wid di staff. Di on-request dishes dem was so good!!! - you should definitely try di Rotterdam Specials an di American Pancakes. Overall service was good, but Ahmad (Ahmed) was exceptional - he remember wi orders, regularly check in pon wi several times throughout di breakfast fu make sure dat wi had everything wi needed, even if di restaurant get really really busy at some points. Room: Wi room deh pon Floor 11. Given di high floor, wi had quite a good view fu di area (an at certain angles, your views ain’t obstructed by di constructions), no view fu di Centraal station though. Di room was so spacious, an di bathroom was new wid modern equipment (showers an separate bath). Di amenities was also very good! Housekeeping read wi notes an fill up items accordingly. Location: very convenient an safe - 1 min walk from Rotterdam Centraal - beautiful architecture an di area no feel sketchy at all, unlike most hotels near central train stations in odda cities. Front office: Nyam who check wi in was a gem - she was friendly, helpful, an super pleasant. Max, who assist wi wid check-out, was also very friendly! Luggage Storage: dere na wan luggage storage facility available free of charge. Deposit: Heads up, dere na wan 50 USD per day security deposit held by di hotel, which will be released upon check out if dere was no incurred expenses. Di release was very quick (almost immediately) an efficient (unlike most hotels in wi experience).

Hotel room was clean but di bed was too soft fu me. I could see di mattress sunk even I did not lie down pon it. Dem provide 2 free bottles of water a day. Staff was nice an polite. Overall, I would give an 8 fu di hotel room due to di mattress issue but I would give a 10 to di location. Just 3 mins walk from di Rotterdam central station. If you come from Schiphol airport, just take a direct train to Rotterdam Central, walk out di station (toward exit near platform 1) an di hotel will right in front of you. Dere was a little plaza right next door to di hotel where you could find good Italian, Japanese an odda restaurants, cafe dere. Dere was also a store like CVS in dere. It was very convenient. Fu shopping lovers, you could walk about 5 mins (to di right of di hotel) to reach di whole walking street shopping wid stores like Zara, HM, LV, etc.. Fu Chinese, Vietnamese restaurants, an market, walk less than 5 mins (from di left of di hotel). It was a perfect location fu walking around. To reach di cruise port, wi take Uber fu 18 Euro an di drive was 10 mins. I would recommend dis hotel when you have a short stay in Rotterdam, especially fu people who take a cruise.
