Lumbini Palace Resort

We stayed in pond villa 6. Seems exciting at first until our key got locked inside and we were stranded outside. I had to call my driver to get help because no one answered phone at reception. Once you have been dropped in the pond villa you have to call the boat to get back. If one is agile it’s great otherwise stick to Norma rooms. Room was clean and neat though the towels looked old and tired. Staff are friendly and ready to help. Food is good and reasonably prized. Best part is the village surrounding. We walked and enjoyed the village living in the evening and it was very safe to see village people out and about with kids playing on the street. No need for village safari. Thus my reason for 5* for location. This is not a place for u if you want city vibe. This beautiful place if far removed from the centre and is in a village but it has exceptional facilities.

I thought I would book a nice hotel, but it turned out to be a far hotel that takes 30 minutes from the Maya Devi Temple. Since I couldn't use a ride-sharing app, I ended up getting into a sketchy taxi... However, I was dropped off at a different hotel, and it turned out to be a friend of mine's hotel, so they arranged for someone to come get me, which was a relief. It was a long journey, but the hotel was even more amazing than I had imagined and very beautiful. The room was spacious enough to run around. There were amenities, and I was happy to be able to choose from several options for breakfast. They arranged a taxi for me, and since I couldn’t do sightseeing while carrying my suitcase, it was a great help to be told that I could leave it at my friend’s hotel. During my trip to Nepal, I realized that although there were challenges, many people in Nepal are truly kind and nice. Thank you very much.

The resort is very nice and beautiful. All the staff peoples are very nice and good. The property is very good place to stay. Only the location is away for the people’s who are coming from India border. Everything is very good from cleanliness to the food.And the breakfast is also very good. Resort is located at very peacefully location and the greenery is also very nice with lake view.
