We thought it would be an uptight environment but it turned out to be fun and friendly.
Martin at the Reception was nice and patient, he has done beyond his duties to even take over concierge role as he provided us with good info about the city. Sylvia at Breakfast, though looks daunting, is actually very friendly and even ensure that we get the recipe for the nice tomato paste. Vivien at the restaurant, sincerely wish for us to have good food in the city and had even recommended us a good Italian restaurant outside the hotel. perhaps more food outlets

Exceptional place to stay for a visit in Berlin with walking access to many landmarks.
Top-tier professional yet friendly customer service. Felt very welcomed and enjoyed the services on special requests. Great breakfast choices for a very fulfilling experience. Very good location right above the subway station. Water was leaking through the bathroom floor tiles. Didn't know if I could drink from the tap. Cigar lounge did not feel very exclusive if that was the purpose of the room. Low vacancies (wanted to try the suite).
