Dedeman Istanbul Hotel

Stayed here for the first time. Great location only few minutes from the metro station. Big room, clean, complimentary water. Will stay here again.

I booked 2 rooms the hotel was very clean, i felt bad about the hotel when i was reading the reviews but everything thing was fine and the hotel worth the money i paid, the change the towels every day, for the price it is great, very clean hotel, well isolated windows, however in a none somking room i was very shocked to find a brochure telling that if you smoke in the non smoking room you will be charged more money for exra cleaning, i think this is should be a panelty not a charge, i was able to smell smoke in my non smoking room for a night, and i do not know why but i informed the front office and never smelled the smoke for the other 3 nights. Overall, My stay at the hotel was pleasant

Unfortunately, I didn’t like my stay at Dedeman mainly because the room was old, extreamely noisy, small (might be the smallest I’ve stayed at before), dirty, with broken door and smelled bad. Although the room was non-smoking room, the ventilation was blowing with cigarette smoke combined. The room was dirty, I felt like the shower wasn’t cleaned prior to our check in at all (there was some lump of hair on the floor), no toileteries in the bathroom like pads, ear sticks etc. The door was broken literaly, it was not closing completkey and you had to clap it hard for it close. It was producing so much noise that we were hearing those claps from each door on the floor. Walls are so thin that I was hearing everything from the neighbours. Couldn’t slept for 2 nights at all. The only thing I liked was the reception personnele, they checked us in early and proposed tea. Another advantage is location. The lobby is really nice - 5* stars lobby but once you enter the lift and go up you are like in 3* hotel maximum. I think the situation with the rooms depends on the floor. Lower floors were having better doors at least (brown wooden and seemed tough doors). Well, won’t be going back anymore.
