King David Jerusalem Hotel

I liked the customer service, I loved the food options at breakfast. I wish there was more parking options available maybe a parking garage connected to the hotel and with handicapped accessibility from hotel to parking area.

We are from Los Angeles and Traveled in August with my husband and two teenage boys. The hotel is an iconic landmark, and maintains an aura of formality compared to the more casual atmosphere of the country. We had two rooms with small balconies. The bed were super-firm which my husband liked but too hard for me. The room size is average by U.S. standards. There is no coffee maker or iron in the room so you have to use the hotel's. There were a few very short (few second) power outages our first night but the hotel had a backup generator so it was reassuring. We had a few glitches with getting our laundry done, perhaps because they used an outside place rather than in-house. The air-conditioning was strong, and water pressure in the shower was great. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the staff helpful, and the pool and grounds are magnificent. Also, the rooms are "smart", meaning you have all the controls of lights by your bed. We all wished we were spending more time there.

Light on amenities...coffee pot...need concessions to provide aspirin,etc...no snack machines...
