Deerfoot Inn and Casino

My hubby and I just spent 2 wonderful, relaxing nights at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino (Calgary, AB) and it was well worth every penny. The check-in was quick, easy and the hotel agent was pleasent and very professional. I was confused that the deposit amount had changed from our previous stay but no big deal really as they only pre-auth and return to your card upon check-out. We stayed in a King Room, the bed is very comfortable, the room was perfect for the 2 of us. The room has everything needed to complete a comfortable stay with little extras like fresh coffee cream in the mini fridge, Tim Hortons coffee pods (😃) and a mint chocolate to add some sweetness. Their TV cable is by far one of the best Ive seen in hotels, carrying On-Demand TV and Movies at no extra charge with the option to also rent movies for a fee. It makes the time in the room more enjoyable with a large selsction of channels, shows and movies to choose from. Of course this hotel has all the amenities with a casino attached, this casino is lovely with a wide range of slot machines, and table games. Their pool and 2 hot tubs are fabulous as well. Open until midnight everyday!! The pool water is warm making it nice to relax and enjoy a swim. Even has a couple waterslides for the kids for those travelling as a family!! My hubby and I enjoy swimming so we enjoyed the extended hours adding convienence to be able to fit it in to each day of our stay among other activities. There are also a few different dining options right in the hotel and casino, as well as wonderful room service which we had our first morning during our stay. It was awesome so hats off to the chef!! There is also many fast food and dining options within a close distance (5-10min drive) which is super convienent. Shopping is also close by, with a Walmart, outlet stores, Ikea, etc... all within a 5-10 min drive. The malls are also probably only about 15 min from there as well. All in all its a great place to stay, in a great location, in a great city!!! Thanks Deerfoot Inn, we will be back!!

We really,really enjoyed our time at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. The rooms were a nice size and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful when needed. The casino was fun and I loved the later hours it was open. but probably the best thing was the food at every restaurant was really good and fairly priced for what you got. All of us loved the food.had a great pool and even offered free driven in movies on the weekend, although we did not go to see one.
