Bright & Modern Basement Apartment Dt N'hood

Great location, adorable setup, comfortable! Really appreciated the fact they had water in the fridge. Found the basement a little cold at night but they do have a space heater that helped!

Communication with hosting staff is great. responds in minutes. slight issue when I arrived was handled with immediately. Bed is comfy, and it was nice to have a hot plate and microwave to cook as well as big fridge and dishwashwer. Everything is nicely decorated and very comfy. full size washer and driver is great too. A few things that was listed but wasnt there. No air fryer which was a big reason as why I booked. I travel full time and when I see a air fryer and or stove, I book so I can cook vs eating out. There is also no oven and no stovetop. It's just a hotplate. Also there is no thermostat to control the air. It was freezing. I understand the upstairs might be warmer and it was warm in Vancouver but the cold air just sinks to the basement. As the host has mentioned there will be noise upstairs, it is a old house. Ear plugs will help or if you are a deep sleeper. It is still a nice place to stay in the Vancouver/Portland area.
