Pullman Paris La Defense Hotel

I made a reservation at the Pullman hotel without mentioning my wedding anniversary. So when I stayed in Paris, I visited the hotel before my booking date. Because I didn't prepare any events for my wedding day. When I spoke to the reception desk staff, he was very hospitable and helped me. His name is Gael. I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location is excellent (very close to the concert venue) and the concierge team was warm and welcoming, my overall experience with the front desk was disappointing for a five-star property. • At check-in, my reservation (booked via Agoda) could not be found. Although it was eventually sorted out, when I returned to collect the room key, the same issue happened again. • For payment, I initially paid in cash but asked to switch to a credit card later. The front desk staff confirmed this could be done at check-out, but during check-out, I was told it was not possible. • I also requested a late check-out. The staff said they needed to check with the manager and would confirm the next day, but I never received any response. The lack of communication and inconsistency between front desk staff was frustrating and not what I would expect from a five-star hotel. That said, the concierge gentlemen were very professional and friendly, and the hotel’s proximity to the venue was a big plus. If the front desk service improves, this could be an excellent choice for travelers. J’ai récemment séjourné dans cet hôtel. Le problème a été réglé, mais au moment de récupérer ma clé, la même erreur s’est reproduite. • Pour le paiement, j’avais payé en espèces au départ puis demandé à passer sur carte bancaire. On m’a confirmé que cela pouvait être fait au moment du départ, mais au check-out on m’a annoncé que ce n’était pas possible. • J’ai aussi demandé un départ tardif. On m’a dit qu’il fallait vérifier avec le manager et que j’aurais une réponse le lendemain, mais je n’ai jamais reçu de retour. Le manque de communication et de coordination entre les membres de la réception est regrettable et ne correspond pas au niveau attendu pour un hôtel cinq étoiles. En revanche, l’accueil chaleureux des concierges et la situation géographique sont de vrais atouts. Avec une amélioration du service à la réception, cet hôtel pourrait offrir une expérience vraiment à la hauteur.
