Hotel Rhodes

I was a bit hesitant to book given some other reviews but was pleasantly surprised after arriving. I stayed in the mixed dorm and have had absolutely no trouble. Internet works. Location is great. The capsules are clean and very comfortable. Ambiance is decent. This hotel is just as advertised - a good affordable option with decent facilities. (They give you earplugs, slippers, provide soaps, and toothbrushes. Laundry onsite. Outdoor seating. A fridge and small food prep area..) Not a particularly social place but good if you just need a place to stay in a central location. No trouble with bedbugs or cleanliness. If you expect a travel hostel then you will be get what you're expecting. Enjoy! And thanks to the hostel staff!

Quiet No bath

Although it is a shared living space it's quite great for me as a woman in a mixed hostel. The bed is great, I'm 5'2 and space was great both top to bottom, i can even sit up or put my legs up when i lay down! But not sure for taller people if it would be comfortable or fitting though. Its quite a peaceful stay, the curtains of your bed makes everything dark even if i usually sleep with the light in the bed on but when i turn it off its really dark. I was the bottom bed of the bunk bed so it was very comfortable for me to go in and out. Women & Men's Bathrooms had their own sections in the mixed dorm, what they provide is just super sufficient, you never run out of stuff. It is actually surprisingly spacious stay, i definitely recommend!. You can also smoke on the 2nd floor stairs. I think the location was good, close by stations and many convenience stores, art galleries, food places, museums, and of course shinjuku. It was a great experience as it was my first time living in a hostel especially mixed lol!
