New World Beijing Hotel

Room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the city. The restaurant had excellent food and the staff members were exceptional.

Everything was exceptional except for the hard bed.

New world hotel is excellent in terms of hardware - building looked new and classy, room was well designed, equipped and comfortable. The room was warmer than the corridor, even after I set it to 18 degrees, it felt warm. Restaurant served a good spread of food. I was delighted by the concierge for offering a 50% discount on my breakfast. Location wise is subjective depending on your destinations. You need to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest MRT station. There is a mall just across the road. Restaurants and eateries are within walking distance. Staff tidying my room was exceptional. She was polite and would ask if I have requests. She said she noticed that I drank a lot of water and she placed more bottles in my room. Conceige also delivered excellent customer service. Allowing me to check in earlier and check out later (thank you, much appreciated). On my last day, the lady staff patiently checked my departure timing and calculated the time I should leave the hotel, I was able to do last minute shopping with her information. The things I would like improvements are: (1) Disposable shavers should be in my room without my request. (2) Bathing salt would be a bonus (3) More English TV channels to provide better room entertainment (4) Safe issue (there is a repeated problem in setting the password, even after the staff fixed it the first time) (5) Air conditioning.
