Ascott Huai Hai Road Shanghai

The hotel is located near to a subway station. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. Take note that there is no air con during winter season and we approached the staff for assistance when the room was too hot on our first day. Once the window was opened, everything is ok.

The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a pleasant and comfortable stay. However, communication with some of the staff was a bit challenging due to limited English proficiency. Overall, a nice experience with room for improvement in service communication.

The location is fantastic for Shanghai. Close to Metro, shopping, café and restaurants. We didn´t include breadfast due to that we could arrange that for our self in the room which sutes us perfect. The rooms are OK, but is in need of renovation. The gym and pool area was nice as well One improvement area could be to be able to put your expenses from the Bar & Restaurant on you room: That would have been very convenient for the guests. The nice coffee machine at the reception desk would also very nice to put back in operation. During our stay it was only for decoration - no coffee available.
