Paramount Gallery Hotel

I loved this hotel! It was the perfect location directly across street from Jing’an Temple and subway line 2. The hotel are in upper floors of what looks like an office building outside- I believe a very historic building in Shanghai with beautiful art deco look. The hotel staff were very helpful. They even helped me to send a package to a friend in another part of the country. It’s an excellent location! They had a great breakfast included as well- with amazing views of Jing’an Temple from the breakfast dining room. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

We stayed here for 6 days and booked 2 rooms (1708 & 1707). Service: The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was warm and accommodating, especially during breakfast. A special mention to Shirley, who was consistently thoughtful and helpful—always offering drinks, making conversation, and able to communicate well in English. Bella was also wonderful and made our mornings more enjoyable. Facilities: The gym is on the smaller side but has a decent cable machine, which was useful for workouts. Rooms: Both rooms were clean and comfortable, but one point of improvement is the room size consistency. We booked 2 rooms at the same rate but one was noticeably larger than the other. Both were still spacious enough for a comfortable stay.

I like how the property is strategically located nearby metro station and several famous sites and restaurants such the Jing An temple and Ren He Guan. I also like how spacious and clean the room is and how nice, gracious and helpful the staffs were. On our second day of stay, one of the housekeeping staff (Ms. Joye) actually gave us extra mineral water eventhough we didn’t ask for it. The receptionist was also very helpful when I asked for help to book one of the famous restaurant nearby the hotel, and the staffs at the restaurant (Ms. Shirley Ma) was very friendly and recommended us places to shop. Overall, the staffs are just very welcoming and warm and made our stay very enjoyable. None
