Oakwood Premier Melbourne

Staya hia fo 2 naits, from di moment yu walk tru di dor yu greet wid a perfume scent lobby an friendly staff who check yu in kwik. Mi request 2 beds as mi travellin wid mi fren an di staff don organise all o dat. Mi was in di 13th floor which was great although all twin rooms no face di city it was still a nice view from a high floor. Di hotela was clean, luksury amenities such as coffee pod selection, teas, an oda beverages. Di hotela was also attach to a small supermarket which yu could get drinks such as water, coke, etc so it was super convenient. Mi would definitely stay hia again as it was a great place.

Wi got married an decide wi wasn’t ready fo a big honeymoon yet, so wi decide fo be tourists in wi own city. Wi choose fo stay at Oakwood as it look modern, clean an di location was perfect. If yu want fo stay near di Casino or Southbank in general, it’s di ideal spot. Everything is a short walk - wid many tram spots nearby. Di room was incredible, would have loved a balcony, but di walls mostly bein windows give yu dat panoramic city skyline. Di staff was lovely an professional & upgrade wi which was a bonus. Breakfast was to die fo - a really good buffet. Di convenience store on di ground level was a game changer, it make pickin up little bits a pieces easier. Dis apartments are stocked, if yu wanted fo make a meal, it would be made easy. Wi will be back dat’s fo sure.

Wi stay in a twin one bedroom room an was pleasantly surprised fo find di room more like a serviced apartment, wid full kitchen, dining table an small lounge area, desk, an separate bedroom an separate bathroom. Dere was a TV in both di lounge room an bedroom, an a combined washer dryer too. It was spacious an exceed wi expectations as wi thought it would only be a standard hotela room wid two beds an a bathroom. Very clean an lovely views of di city. Buffet breakfast was a great start to di day, simple but had everything wi needed. Good selection of hot foods (quiche, sausages, pancakes, omelette to order), fruit, cereal, pastries. Wi also spend quite some time in di games room an dis was probably di highlight of wi stay - di room contain a fully stocked pool table, ping pong table, foosball, air hockey an a 90s arcade game machine (which was free to play an contain so many nostalgic games including galaga, mappy, PAC man). Everything work without issue an without any payment required, which is rare fo most arcades. Di gym had a great selection of equipment, very clean an nice views. Wi love di rooftop bar wid views all across Melbourne an dey was happy to accommodate wi in di evening despite not havin a reservation. Great choice of unique cocktails an bar snacks but wi wish dey offer dessert at di bar too. Wi end up orderin dessert via room service another night which was exceptional. Super easy to order an it arrive quickly. Staff was overall wonderful, dey was very accommodating, friendly an polite. Wi was impress wid service from start to finish. Location wise, it was nice bein in a quieter semi-industrial area an was about a 10 min walk to di nearest tram stop to di CBD or a $15 uber ride. Dere is a convenience store on di ground level which was helpful fo last min groceries. Mi would love fo stay hia again an would recommend to anyone goin to Melbourne.
