Beautiful and clean
We loved every aspect of the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. It was pristine, amenities were good quality and staff was courteous and helpful. The valet parking though pricey saved us the headache of finding parking. The area surrounding the hotel was beautiful.
Good location, good amenities, disappointing parking facilities.
1. Hotel Advantages
(1) Located by the lake south of Toronto, about 1km away from downtown's museums, art galleries, CN Tower, and Roundhouse Park, making it accessible by walking. It's also only about 500 meters from the Scotiabank Arena where NBA games take place, so the location is very good.
(2) The staff are generally friendly, breakfast is delicious, and the staff in the breakfast restaurant are kind, making it a good idea to take advantage of breakfast-inclusive packages.
(3) Arriving at Toronto Airport around 10 AM on the first day of your trip, after picking up the rental car, visiting Niagara Falls (which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes), having a light lunch, and spending about an hour at the falls before returning to the hotel (taking about 2 hours drive), allows for hotel check-in around 6-7 PM. Note that there’s no need to purchase the Niagara Wonder Pass; just buy a parking ticket, print it out, place it on the rental car's dashboard, and scan it at the parking machine when entering and exiting.
(4) The hotel has a swimming pool, so it's good to prepare swimwear.
(5) There’s a 24-hour hot dog stand right next to the hotel, with prices around 5,000 to 6,000 won each.
(6) It’s good to take water freely from the lobby when checking in.
(7) The coffee machine in the room is good, and the coffee tastes great.
2. Disadvantages of This Hotel
(1) Being a large hotel with many group family visitors, there are many rooms with a connected room structure, which can lead to unexpectedly loud noise from adjacent rooms.
(2) A general problem with Canadian hotels is that there is an additional parking fee of about 50,000 won per night.
(3) The price is not cheap.
Overall, I think it's generally okay, and considering cost-effectiveness, it deserves around 8 to 9 points out of 10.
