Braw hotel, weel placed close tae aw Manchester airport terminals. The room wis gey comfy, wi guid bed linens. The main restaurant is Asian an' had awfy guid Chinese an' Thai options. The bar haes a wide range o' non-Asian dishes. The airport connection cost aboot five dollars but wis punctual an' efficient - cards only.

On a dark, wet nicht it wis a warm welcome tae arrive at the Crowne Plaza. We wad hae walked if it had been a dry nicht. The shuttle bus wis in high demand due tae the horrendous weather, an' when we contacted the hotel, we were telt there micht be a 30/40 minute wait, so we got a taxi frae the rank ootside the train station, which wis a rip-off at £10, but it wis something we were willin' tae pay on sic a dreary nicht. The room wis huge an' very comfy on the ground floor; the only downside wis it wis near the lift, an' we could hear it as fowk left early mornin'. There's a big bar area an' restaurant for thae wantin' food, plenty o' choice. However, breakfast is £17 pp if no part o' yer bookin', an' the shuttle is an extra £3.75 pp as Terminal 2 is a 15/20 minute walk away. On the whole, we wad stay there again; it wis quiet an' we had a guid night's sleep.
