Tower Suites by Blue Orchid

Hotel is located conveniently near Tower Bridge Tube station (less than 100m). Walking distance to see Tower Bridge and to Borough Market. We had a Queen size bed and a sofa bed. The Queen bed was uncomfortable to sleep on as the mattress was too soft. My wife and ny back sink in when we slept on it and it causes backache. Couldn't have a restful sleep. Woke up a few times in the night and had to sleep sideways. Other than that, the room is clean and spacious. There is a microwave, washing machine cum dryer. Both Still and Sparkling water are provided - just need to ask for refill when needed.

I can't say enough about the location of this hotel. Literally steps away from the Tower Hill Underground station, and within easy walking distance from Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The suite had everything needed and more. Dishes, dishwasher drawer, refrigerator, 2-burner cook top, and even a combo washer-dryer. The bathroom was spacious (but oddly did not have a hair dryer). The room was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the concierge was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel with my family and 2 boys. The check-in process was very easy even though our room was not ready to be occupied upon arrival. The room with a very good apartment concept so that the four of us were very comfortable staying in this hotel. The location is very strategic with views of the Tower of London and the very historic Tower Bridge. The hotel is very close to the Tower Hill Underground station and the DLR station. Until finally the last night of our stay everything turned into my worst experience staying at any hotel in the last 5 years. The problem of the broken AC during the last 24 hours of our stay was not handled properly by the hotel. Even the hotel only asked us to surrender to the existing conditions without offering a fan. We gave in by asking for the room window to be opened so that the ventilation would be better. The hotel agreed to this even though in the end until we checked out not a single hotel staff came to our room. I think this is quite disappointing and very embarrassing. We checked out without any compensation and the slightest feeling of guilt from the hotel. But whatever it is, I still recommend this hotel if the hotel management can fix this deficiency, thank you very much
