NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace

We stayed for a week, and was given a room overlooking the main station, on the high floor, which was a very wonderful view. The hotel had very delicious breakfast, among the best in all the hotels we have been in. The only downside would be limited options, and not changing much daily. The room was spacious, clean, modern. Staffs were friendly. The location was perfect, 5 min walk to the main station, and 5 min walk to the centre with all the restaurants and touristy things. Surprisingly it was in a more "secret" quiet area than most of the areas around, so despite the crowd everywhere, our room was quiet.

Great location, walking distance to all key attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are exceptionally helpful and very friendly. Met all my travel must in a hotel highly recommend this hotel

What a beautiful hotel in a spectacular location, just steps from the Central Train Station. You could not ask for a better spot unless you plan to sleep on the train. The room was fancy, unique, and clean enough to make me feel guilty for existing in it. The bed was so comfy it could probably end wars if shared globally. The staff were next-level friendly. I never use concierge services, but the guy at the desk was a recommendation wizard. Every tip he gave was pure gold — restaurants, routes, even shortcuts that made me feel like a local with a map and confidence. Bang on. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Amsterdam… and I will be returning. Possibly just for that bed.
