Le Meridien continues to impress with its top-notch service and thoughtful hospitality. For both of my recent stays, I paid for access to the lounge — and it was well worth it. We arrived around 1 PM — a bit early, as check-in is officially at 3 PM. Although I had requested early check-in, the rooms weren’t ready yet, which was understandable. What made a difference was the staff’s accommodating gesture: they offered us temporary lounge access so we could wait comfortably. We decided to head to Imago Mall in the meantime, and by 2:30 PM, they gave us a call to say our rooms were ready. By the time we returned, our luggage was already in the rooms — such a thoughtful touch! This wasn’t our first time experiencing their exceptional service. Back in April, my husband and I also stayed in a lounge-access room to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived late, around 8 PM, and had a flight the next day at 9:45 PM. The staff offered us a late check-out at 2 PM and invited us to stay in the lounge until 6 PM before heading to the airport. Since we had missed the lounge’s tea time and evening snacks the day before, they ensured we could enjoy them the next day — truly considerate service. Every interaction was met with warm smiles and attentive care. From the generous lounge offerings (tea time from 2–4 PM and evening snacks with free-flow drinks from 5:30–7 PM) to the spacious connecting rooms and the convenience of a nearby coin laundry, everything made our stay smooth and memorable. We’ll definitely return. Le Meridien remains one of our top choices in KK for its outstanding service, comfort, and consistent hospitality — especially when opting for the lounge access experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. I booked 3 rooms for my group, and each one was perfect — offering stunning sea views and modern, spacious interiors. The hotel’s attention to detail and cleanliness made it easy to feel at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was an absolute delight, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality dishes to choose from. Whether you're a fan of local flavors or international favorites, there was something to please every palate. The food was consistently delicious, and the staff at the breakfast buffet were attentive and friendly. The location of Le Méridien is also ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and beautiful views of the sea. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, it’s the perfect place to stay in Kota Kinabalu. Overall, my experience was nothing short of fantastic, and I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I’m back in the area.
