The Pacific Sutera Hotel

Before arriving, I had called the hotel in advance to request rooms and, if possible, a connecting room or side by side. We arrived around 3:00 PM during the peak year-end Christmas holiday, so the long queue at check-in was understandable. We were warmly attended by the front desk officer, Ms. Ailee, who was cheerful, professional, and very helpful. She truly made the effort to assist us in getting rooms next to each other, even though many rooms were not ready yet at that time. She managed to arrange one room for us to check in first, while the second room was prepared about an hour later. This was perfectly fine for us, as it allowed our young children to rest comfortably in the available room first. While waiting, we enjoyed our time at the beachfront cafe, watching the sunset and having pizza, fried chicken, spaghetti marinara, Tiger beer, and fresh coconut drinks. The view was beautiful and very relaxing. Our children were excited to play at the pool, especially with the bubble activities and the ballon -tower slide, which made their experience even more enjoyable. One thing to note is that payment at beachfront Café is by credit or debit card only, with no cash payment accepted, but this was not an issue for us. It was lightly drizzling at the time, adding a calm atmosphere. Not long after, the second room was ready. Ms. Ailee remembered us and personally checked if everything was okay, which we truly appreciated. The extra bed had already been properly set up in the room. Overall, even though we stayed for just one night, it was a very happy and satisfying experience. In the evening, we relaxed at the lobby café with beer and piña colada, and the next morning breakfast was smooth and comfortable, especially with the kids. A great stay with excellent service, friendly staff, and a family-friendly environment. We would be happy to return again.

We had a wonderful 1-night stay at The Pacific Sutera Hotel with my wife and our 2 little kids. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable – perfect for our family. The view was stunning, especially during sunset, which is one of the highlights of this hotel. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the kids’ facilities, while we appreciated the peaceful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and everything was delicious. Service throughout our stay was excellent – staff were always attentive and accommodating to our needs. Overall, it was a memorable family getaway. We highly recommend The Pacific Sutera Hotel to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu, especially families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to come back again!
