Sonesta Charlotte Lower South End

I was in Charlotte for a wedding . I chose this hotel because the price fit my budget. The room was clean and very modern. My only issue was the toilet was very low and there were no usb outlets to charge my phone (only regular plugs which are outdated). Everything else appeared to have been upgraded. There’s a restaurant on the premises and it was awesome except the tiny glasses they serve juice/water in for breakfast. They should use regular size glasses or cups since customers are paying $19 for one breakfast. I liked that the restaurant had room service as well so you don’t have to leave your room to get something to eat nor call for delivery. The location is great (not far from the airport and places to eat). If the price were right, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I do recommend it to others.

As always a pleasant stay! Room is clean and pool is open!! My only complaint is the deposit required of $*** per day. If you were staying a week that’s an additional ***. I understand the need for deposits as most hotels have implemented the policy. The big difference is the deposit fee is $*** to $*** per stay. The charge for parking is steep $14.00 per day. Once all the fees are paid you end up paying double to initial room fee. This policy needs to be updated and considered heavily!!
