Sofitel New York Hotel

Goi na wan show? Fift Avenue shoppin? Liki Rockefeller Center of St. Patrick's Cathedral? Dis na wan gran' lokeshon fu al' o' dem, plus Times Square, Bryant Park, en di subway na wan short walk. Di facilities na nyun, clean en fresh, gran' nait sleep en good wata pressure. Best fu al', di staff na friendli en helpfu....recyclable bottles en hydration stations na each floor. Wi go definitely stay deh next time wi deh na town.

Wi stay na gran', from check in to check out. Di staff na extremely friendli en helpfu. Room na veri clean, spacious enough en remodeled. Maybe wan real expresso machine instead of di coffee maker na di room would be nice :)

Wi fain wan deal na Agoda dat na significantly cheaper than booking direct. Although skeptical dat di booking was going to be valid di reservation was seamless. Di hotel na close to Times Square just a few minutes walk en located down wan quiet street away from di hustle en bustle. Di lobby na absolutely beautiful en wi fain al' dealings wid di staff pleasant, dem na friendli en helpfu. Although di hotel room na dated (look di same as when mi stayed deh 20 years ago) it has been impeccably maintained en made fu wan comfortable stay, so mi wouldn’t be to concerned about comments dat di rooms na dated. Di bed na showing its age en although mi slept well it would be great fu si di hotel invest in dem fu get dem up to scratch wid o' Sofitels mi have stayed in. Strangely di fridge na di room was broken which appears to be common na dis hotel after reading o' reviews. Not really up to standard fu wan hotel of dis level especially being na wan one bedroom suite dat can cost thousands fu stay in en also missing was wan kettle or coffee machine which was unusual, mi can’t remember di last place mi stayed dat didn’t provide dis. Overall due to di rate mi managed to get mi fain value na mi stay, if mi paid di hotel rate mi might have preferred anoda hotel. If you na looking fu wan hotel close to Times Square but na wan quiet area mi would recommend staying here. Lastly although mi aware of ‘destination fees’ na NYC hotels dere was no mention of dis on checking in en weti benefits mi could obtain, so mi fain absolutely no benefit to dis during mi stay.
