A 70-day old baby had their first swim in the bathtub.
It wasn't difficult to walk around with a stroller and it was a well-sanitized resort in the mountains where we didn't have to worry much about bugs. The room was spacious enough for three families with babies, and the alpha room was great for breastfeeding and putting the baby to sleep for a bit. The bathroom was also generously sized, with a bathtub big enough for adults, and I got to let my 70-day-old baby swim for the first time with a neck tube :) They really enjoyed it! However, I was a bit disappointed that there weren't many walking paths for non-members. The area accessible only to members was wide, making it difficult for non-member guests to walk around the resort. Fortunately, a staff member kindly opened the door for a moment so we could take a walk with the stroller. It seems to be located in a good spot in the mountains, but I felt a bit disappointed with how the resort's exterior, roads, parking lot in front of buildings, and gardens were maintained. Nonetheless, I think it's at an acceptable level. If there were clear signs guiding non-member guests from the underground parking to the lobby without needing to find a staff member, it would reduce some confusion. Overall, it was a satisfactory staycation, and since delivery food was available, I think I will visit again!
Exceptional
Outstanding Stay at Paraspara Seoul Hotel – A Hidden Gem in Nature
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Paraspara Seoul Hotel, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. The level of hospitality here truly sets the hotel apart.
The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The hotel facilities exceeded my expectations—especially the gym, which felt like a high-end, professional fitness center comparable to Lifetime Fitness in Virginia. I was particularly impressed with the sauna, which was also spotless and relaxing.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. Lee Young-nam, the duty manager. His professionalism, courtesy, and extensive knowledge of the area made my stay even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to explain the surrounding facilities and recommended the Uidong Trail, which turned out to be the highlight of my trip. The trail leads to Uidong Valley, a serene, nature-filled escape that feels miles away from the city, even though you’re still in Seoul.
Staying at Paraspara feels like having the best of both worlds—the convenience of the city and the beauty of nature. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious experience in Seoul.
