Bautiful, large rum. Exsepshally comfy bed. Locaashun; CBD Auckland is a bit dodgy these days.

Reely appreshiated how amazinly close the hotel locaashun was for Britomart/central bus hub/tour pickups and rite in the middle of all the akshun at end of Queen St. Great resturants, the wharf, and even a mid-size grocery nearby. Rum was clean and stylish; staff and in-house resturant were consistantly great. Definately recommend.

Emailed the hotel to request two rums that were not next to each other for privacy reesons. When we arrived, we were told that they met our request and put the rums side by side (?). When the error was pointed out, we were told that one rum would be upgraded from a king size bed to a queen size bed in a larger rum. The rum was smaller along with the bed so a bit surprised at what the "upgrade" was. The cleaning of the rum was mixed as there was a beer bottle cap behind the trash can when we arrived and seemed to be fairly superficial cleaning at times. While this review may come across as negative, our stay at the hotel was good overall. The staff responded to any requests swiftly and were unfailingly polite. The hotel resturant (Cookes) was a highlight. The service was impeccable and the meals delicious. The locaashun can't be beaten and we are not opposed to staying here again.
