Don't let the austere lines of this imposing edifice fool you; this is one of the friendliest, most attentive and neatly comfortable places you can stay in India. From the morning greetings to the evening adieus everything about The Imperial is designed to attend to your comfort, your needs and your wellbeing. The meals are lavish, the rooms are elegant, yet homel,y and the staff as attentive as they need to be. There are common areas, lounges and restaurants, for quiet meals or entertaining friends. We had visitors twice during our stay and they were all captivated. Swim, do yoga, eat, drink, relax, watch Delhi's most beautiful, shop at CP or just sleep, it is an utter delight.

So I arrived at the hotel as a solo traveler, I was joining back a group few days later. Pick up at the airport went smoothly, I missed the person at the arrival but find it few minutes later. Warm welcome at the hotel, nice room, but very disappointed by the fact that my deco room with atrium or garden view got the view of the parking lot! When I joined the group, the group paid for a higher class room, but the hotel left me in the same room for the same price, without a refund or any other commercial gesture. I also made a purchase at their shop the first day and silly me, calculated wrong the change, I then asked to return the article, unused and still with the tag in its original packaging, the hotel refused to refund me… ouawww a shame!! The hotel is lovely, far from the city and all attractions, the rooms are nice, the halls a beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet is very good. This is important to note that even at this hotel rats are walking on the patio, so it opens few questions too about the kitchen. The spa is very nice and the staff very lovely, excellent massage. Does the price tag is right for what you get, I’ve a doubt in comparison of the local market. Globally it was a nice experience, but this is as long as you’re OK with everything and never needs to mention something negative about a little thing, as then you’ll not get any help anymore.
