Taj Campton Place

Rooms are very warm and well decorated. Large bathrooms, window seat and a very big room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a great location just off Union Square and near theater, shopping and dining and China town. everything was great.

I don't usually book five-star hotels, but I found a decent price for a Sunday night stay at the Taj. I walked in expecting high quality, and this place delivered it at every turn. The staff was perfect, the room was immaculate, and the location had me a stone's throw from Union Square. I couldn't have been happier. The next time I'm in town, I would definitely consider staying here again even if it costs me a little extra compared to a three or four star hotel. You will know exactly where your money is going when you stay at this place.

This was my first solo trip to San Francisco and the Taj was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Greeted me every time I left and returned. The cleaning staff came everyday like clock work. The location was perfect - very ideal for downtown Union square and no matter what landmark I was visiting the hotel was super close to where I was. My only critique were the room and facilities were slightly dated. But that was not a deal breaker and I would stay there again.
