The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel

My family stays here whenever we come to Seoul. The room is nicely designed with comfortable bed, convenient sofa, good size bathroom (Delux King), and smart TV (I only mention because still good number of nice five star hotels have older version of TVs, not supporting Netflix etc). The hotel is extremely clean and house keeping does a great job. We like the buffet and the Groceria restaurant but we wish it to provide more various dishes (their dishes are excellent, we just wish some changes). Its bakery is also wonderful. I also used its gym (well equipped to continue workouts when away from home. Most importantly, the staff is excellent: they know what they are doing with great attitude and professionalism. We thank every staff , never encountered a staff who performed less greatly. We especially thank the bell staff gentleman at the main entrance who were so kind and helpful to my family. Great hotel, always delivers!!

This hotel is one of the oldest in Seoul, but the recent refurbishment ensures that your experience will match the old time giants like the Lotte and Shilla. The recently renovated rooms look absolutely smart and luxurious plus the automated controls are a nice touch not to mention you'll get the best close up view of the N. Seoul Tower! Despite already in late autumn, the room's air conditioning is perfect for a comfortable sleep which is a rare to have during this season in Seoul. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't offer much in terms of facilities for a true 5-star hotel (only a smallish heated pool and sauna are available) and the location requires a bit of a hike from the subway stations.

Breakfast was exceptional! It had many choices from American, Chinese, Vietnamese and of course Korean food.
