Companion coordinator openings
We are looking for someone to stay beside a patient who came to Korea
For people living in Korea who speak English as a first language — marriage migrants, permanent residents and students are all welcome. If you only speak Korean, you can still join us with an AI interpreting app.
A patient arriving for medical tourism finds everything unfamiliar from the airport onward. Finding the accommodation, registering at the hospital, checking how the recovery is going the day after surgery — a companion coordinator is the person who is there for those few days.

What you do
- Airport pickup and taking the patient to their accommodation
- Going along to hospital appointments, helping with registration and waiting
- Checking recovery after surgery, and following up once they are home
- Interpreting in person at the moment surgical consent is taken
You use an AI interpreting app for medical terms. No interpreting certificate is needed. The one exception is the hour when surgical consent is taken — that one you do without AI, and the guide explains why.
What you do not do
- No medical judgement — you never say "this procedure would be better"
- No promises about outcomes — "it will turn out fine" is a promise
- Never shorten or add to what the doctor said
These three are contract clauses, and the company carries the liability if they are broken. That is why what you do not do matters as much as what you do.
Pay
140,000 – 280,000 KRW per case
Base 15,000 KRW/hour × 8 hours = 120,000 KRW, plus 5% of our commission if the case closes.
At the start this is 1–3 cases a month. That is everything we know today, and we are not going to tell you it is more.
The base is fixed on the surgery day; the incentive is fixed once the clinic settlement is confirmed.
What we ask
- Speaking the language natively is preferred (but not required)
- Enough Korean to talk with hospitals and accommodation
- A residence status that legally allows this work
- Some weekday daytime availability (about one day per case)
People who apply
- People who settled in Korea through marriage (F-6)
- Permanent residents and naturalised citizens of foreign origin (F-5)
- International students (D-2 — a part-time work permit is required)
- Koreans who are good with people, even without the language
We are not only looking for students. There are 12 languages × 3 places, and the open ones are listed above.
Residence status check

What we do not store
We do not store resident registration numbers, alien registration numbers, passport numbers, bank account numbers, or photos of visas and permits. Documents are checked in person, offline, and payment details are kept outside this system.
